Fabrication Supervisor

Job Description:

A Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for completing the following duties:

  • Safety - Provide consistent leadership by ensuring safety rules, policies, procedures and processes are followed
  • Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost/Productivity.
  • Plan, supervise and be responsible for all production activities in assigned plant.
  • Obtain help from supporting departments for such things as tooling, equipment selection, plant layout, labor relations, cost data, safety and quality control to effectively carryout duties.
  • Plan and schedule work to meet completion date.
  • Inspect quality of work performed within the department to insure quality standards and accurate counts.
  • Maintain discipline and efficiency in department.
  • Maintain accurate records as required for the efficient operations of the shop.
  • Candidate will need to be able to work 1st shift and some Saturdays.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years knowledge and experience in Fabrication manufacturing processes preferred
  • Welding knowledge, and blueprint reading required
  • Prior Supervisory experience a plus, but will consider individuals with supervisory interests and extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work under pressure of time and resource constraints
  • Must possess workflow and organizational skills; be self-motivated, a problem solver; and effectively direct, supervise and motivate assigned employees
  • Must possess strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Strong commitment to safety/quality/efficiency

Manure Handling Specialist

Job Description:

A Manure Handling Specialist is responsible for completing the following duties:

  • Operate manure application and pump equipment safely and properly
  • Lead the application of manure by directing overall workflow of operations based on field readiness
  • Ensure proper rate of manure is applied
  • Make certain manure toolbar functions as it should
  • Ensure hose is moved efficiently to keep applicator moving
  • Make sure hose is moved properly to prevent hose ruptures
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of manure application and experience in production agricultural.
  • Class A CDL with tanker endorsement preferred but not required.

  • Willingness to work a nonstandard schedule during season
  • Willingness to work within a team environment
  • Work in various work settings such as but not limited to field, livestock site, warehouse, shop, etc. while being exposed to various climates

Agricultural Service Technician

Job Description:

An Agricultural Service Technician is responsible for completing the following duties:

  • Perform quality mechanical work assigned by service manager in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist service manager by advising customers of necessary agricultural equipment service repairs and makes recommendations to customers for preventative maintenance.
  • Assist service manager with customer complaint problems pertaining to service and repair work.
  • Maintains in good condition all service tools and service vehicles.
  • Responsible for the safety and maintaining a safe working environment and reporting all accidents to the service manager immediately.

  • Document all parts used while completing any repair job.
  • Record all labor hours worked on work order.

  • Recommends new shop equipment which will cut costs in shop and speed up work or which will give the customer more complete coverage.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Agriculture industry or knowledge of farm operations is a must.
  • Fabrication and welding experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of product line, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Class A CDL preferred or willing to obtain.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
  • Excellent attention to details.

  • Operate Fab Shop machinery and equipment
  • Meet and maintain quality and performance expectations including efficiencies and productivity standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years MIG welding experience required.
  • Must have previous fabrication experience.
  • Ability to follow blue prints, verbal instructions, or written work orders.
  • Must be able to perform detailed inspections and use appropriate measuring tools to ensure quality.
  • Must have ability to stand, bend, squat, or kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Must have an excellent understanding of safety practices and procedures in a fabricating environment.
  • Must have ability to work well with others or alone and stay on task.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift 50 to 100 pounds.
