The upper section of the WIC bedding-choppers has a hinge that allows to flip the tub and provide instant access to the rotor.This exclusive rotor has triangular knives with 6 cutting edges insuring longer use. A revolutionary spacer system speeds up the knives rotation or replacement process: only 2 bolts to unscrew, no rods to pull. The spacers between the knives are made of 380 aluminum alloy providing outstanding durability. They have a perfectly smooth surface that prevents cord tangle. The knives layout along the rotor has been studied for each model of bedding-chopper, to obtain the most even discharge. A simple adjustment of the grate lever allows to adapt to the type of material to shred. The recutter grate insures even discharge and constant cutting length, without build-up. Deflectors with variable opening position direct the shredded material (straw, hay or paper) at the desired distance and place. All our bedding-choppers are equipped with a polyethylene tub providing lightness, resistance to cold temperature and protection against rust. The tub is designed to push material towards the knives while preventing build-up and insuring a regular discharge of material. Its square shape has a better grab on bales so they slide easily onto the knives. A brake lever and shields insure maximum safety during operation.
